ESR & CRP is high

hi,my mother is 62 years old , she has slight Rheumatoid arthritis and uses 1.25 mg ( quarter of prednisolone 5 mg) per day, she's test ( one month before) shows ESR 1st hr : 34 mm/hr , so a new test shows : CRP: 11 mg/L, RF : 3.4 IU/ml, Anti CCP : 8.5 U/ml ( negetive ) .
please inform me what is the problem?

thanks for your comment.her doctor didn't test ESR again unfortunately,new test contains : WBC,RBC,Hemoglobin,Hematoctrit,MCV,MCH,MCHC,Platelets,CRP,RF,AntiCCP. also she uses prednisolone for a long period.

You mentioned her ESR from a month ago, but not her current ESR. ESR and CRP are similar but it would help to know her current ESR. If low to normal, then I'd say the prednisolone is doing well ;)
