Exactly HOW does whiplash cause hypothyroidism later in life? Is the gland injured?
What is the BEST way then to treat a person diagnosed with clinical hypothyroidism who has had a history of whiplash? Are the usual hormonal drugs like levoxothryine, synthroid, or armour even appropriate?
If a conventional doctor only looks at the thyroid panel values and treats thinking only about that and not whiplash, or TBI, then are they mistreating and missing the boat entirely?
If patient cannot take dessicated thyroid gland due to allergy what are alternate thryoid medication which can
address both T3 and T4 and not just T4 such as levothroxine? sorry about the misspelling
