Extreme fatigue with constant brain fog - gluten free due to Celiac

I have recently found out I have Celiac disease which I have learned to manage and my severe stomach symptoms have cleared up. Prior to diagnosis, I would break out in rashes, be in a brain fog so severe I could not drive, constant diarrhea, stomach pains, muscle aches, my outtermost fingers were hurt so bad I could not type. I would feel dillusional and get confused easily. Anxiety and panic attacks were frequent.
My joints always ached and I was always very tired.

So - I'm gluten free and doing a lot better. Problem is, I still have a mild constant brain fog where I'm nervous when I drive. I still have my anxiety attacks, but less often. The biggest thing though is that my eyes don't want to focus and the fog just won't "lift". On top it all, I'm extremely fatigued all the time. I'll be at work and just feel like I had just gotten back from partying all weekend in Vegas - expierience sudden and extreme exhaustion. I also notice my muscles are extremely tight and I wake up with leg spasms, "charlie horses" often.. both legs at the same time.

Any thoughts?

Have you been checked for sleep apnea?  The brain fog especially when driving and the extreme tiredness were two of my most serious symptoms.  I snapped to once (I guess I actually fell asleep) and was in the lane with oncoming traffic.

be sure you are truly gluten-free-- even toast crumbs in your butter from someone else or using utensils that touched gluten could be an issue.  Also see a neurologist because you could heva another underlying cause

Hi tif,  I also am experiencing complete weakness, been bed ridden for 3 wks now.  Anyway, I have started using magnesium oil and it has helped a ton with my severe anxiety and panic attacks.  i recommend that very much. I also think that you are deficient in b vitamins and maybe iron.  Look into getting a multi b vitamin cus you aren't supposed to take only one type of b vitamin. you need all of them to work together.  I am also trying to get better.  I can't even do dishes or cook dinner for my family.  Trying to get a good natural doctor.   research magnesium and b vitamins.  hope this helped. take care friend.

I've quit gluten 6 months ago and still not all of the symptoms have cleared completely (acid reflux disappeared the very next day). I've been told by others who are celiac that it took them 6-7 months for the symptoms to go away.

That being said, may I ask what are you eating and drinking precisely?
