Fatigue, tremors, aging too quickly

68 year old male, main complaint of extreme fatigue, diagnosed with 70 % occlusion of R carotid---endarterectomy in Sept of 2008 ; MRI showed 3 strokes (only symptom of stroke was numbness in L hand).
Now post-op 6 months, all heart stress tests and head scans are WNL  and fatigued is less but still a major problem.  Additional symptoms are profuse salivation while eating (I know that sounds funny, but I choke!) as well as excessive tearing of L eye.  Body tremors, lip, hands, chin tremors, and hesitancy/slowness in movement.
My wife says (with worry and concern)  that I am acting and looking like an 80 year old, rather than a 68 year old.
Can anyone help suggest possibilities about what specialists to see?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!

Your present symptoms all look like TIAs or mini strokes. You should go back to your neurologist and you may need a MRI again. There is definite neurological deficit.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Take care!

Hi. Have you been already been evaluated by a neurologist for these recent symptoms? Seems most of them would fall in that realm.

Can't speak to most of your symptoms. Just wondering if you have any sleep issues, like possibly sleep apnea. It can cause fatigue, increases risk of stroke, and can cause damage to the brain if the oxygen gets low.

Hopefully a doctor will weigh in here soon with some direction.
