In 1989 I suffered a bout of glandular fever (infectious mononucleosis), and during that time, one of the principal symptoms was a near constant feeling of fuzzy headedness (that's the nearest description I can give), in which I would get a combination of a "painless throb" behind my eyes, and especially noticeable when I moved my eyes. I've also had the same feeling with various fevers and other infections..
Now ever since then, I have at times had this feeling even when I've been perfectly well, although never quite as badly as with the infection itself. I had a noticeable bout with it in January 2003, and again now ~ even though I feel perfectly well otherwise, with no high temperature. In fact my current temperature is 97.1F.
I've never yet seen any reference in any medical book or on the internet, to this sensation, yet it must be common. What causes this sensation and is there a medical name for it ?
Thanks for your time.
