GONE TOO SOON

My 17 year old cousin suddenly took ill back in 2013 when she was 15. She just woke up ill and her mom rushed her to the er. When she got there the doctor diagnosed her with a severe case of pneumonia. She was in a medical induced coma for three weeks. On and off she was taking back to the er and specialists appts. But they could not find a source to her immune system breaking down. So, last week out the blue she wasn't feeling well. She preceded to vomit. As she was vomiting it looked and smelled like feces, blood was present, also. She was rushed to the hospital and they said that her kidneys were failing. As they began to airlift her to another facility specialized in that field, she passed away. She was only 17. The doctors in Memphis and Mississippi do not know what caused these symptoms. If there is anyone on here that has any suggestions or knows someone who knows someone with suggestions, please help. I want my family to have some closure.
Thank You

As a relative, you have the right to a copy of the autopsy report by the coroner or medical examiner. In addition, the hospital where she passed will have a record of a meeting where the death was discussed. You can request this, but you may have to get a subpoena duces tecum. They are antsy about giving out these reports because of potential liability. You have my condolances.
