Had a bad case of strep and now I have peeling fingers and sore throat again

On September 12th I went to the doc with my throat swelled shut. They done a rapid strep test anf sure enough I had it. She gave me a shot of steroids, shot of antibiotics and antibiotics to take at home. My throat felt much better within a day or 2.

A couple days ago the skin around ny fingers started peeling and then got worse. Is that normal with strep? I never developed a rash.

I forgot to take my antibiotics for the first time yesterday, which I'm almost out of anyway, and my throat is killing me today. That shouldn't be happening right? I still feel weak and tired and get dizzy sometimes. Thanks for any advice!

Maybe you should be tested for hand, foot, and mouth.  This can cause sore throat and also peeling of skin on hands and feet.  You should return to your dr.  as he or she may need to give you another round of antibiotics for the strep.  Hope you get well soon.

Call the doctor about the peeling fingers as well as the sore throat coming back.  Unless this was one of those slow Z-Paks, you should be feeling better.  The finger peeling means you had scarlet fever as well, apparently.
