Stabbing head pains

I was in a car crash a little over 5 weeks ago. My neck was x-rayed as I complained of stiffness in my neck after the accident. I was told my x-rays were all fine and I have whiplash. I began experiencing pain in my arms and hands and a pins and needles type sensation. I went to the docs and they said its all normal. I was also getting stabbing pains in my head which was not too often at this point. A few later it was still continuing and I went back to the doctors in order to make sure I shouldnt be worried. He didnt seem overly concerned. Ive told my physio that I am seeing who again doesnt seem overly concerned and said its just because my head got whipped around. I'm still concerned as the pain is more frequent now and it was just on the right hand side and it has begun hurting on the left (although still mostly the right) The pain is on the very top of my head but has also been on the side (temple) and at the back. I'm going to try and go back to the docs but just want as many opinions as possible.

well thatt most likely could be many things... If you want a straight answer go to the E.R. Tell them thatt you caint stand ittt the docs can only give you their oppinions or prescribe some pills... ER gives the most attention to shytt like this. So i think thatt would be your best bet

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Since after car accident you have neck stiffness and all these symptoms, it is important to get a MRI of the neck region (cervical spine). This alone will give a complete picture of injury and nerve compression. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
