High Sed Rate, High Rdw, weight gain

I have been dealing with this situation since November of last year and the Infectious disease doctor is stumped. My blood work is normal except the RDW is high 15 %  Sed rate is 68, and since May of last year, when I delivered my daughter due to toxemia, I have gain 66 lbs since. Now I have swelling in my feet and lets.

This discussion is related to Low vit D and Sed rate?.

I would imagine that since you have edema, most of your weight gain is water.  You might want to see a cardiologist to see if you have Congestive Heart Failure.  It makes you retain water - usually throughout your whole body.  He/she will probably put you on Lasix or another diuretic and a potassium supplement.  - Meanwhile, drinking green tea can make you pee, pee, pee out some of that water.  You can also buy a potassium substitute - but best to get the supplement from the doctor.  - You might try going back on your prenatal vitamins since they can help your body heal.  (Back in the day we took prenatal vitamins until the baby was 6 months old).
