Stay strong. If you can, bring a male relative into your consultations. You will be taken more seriously. One thing you can do is find an endocrinologist and ask him/her to do a full hormone work up. Thyroid problems and adrenal gland problems are known to cause anxiety. Read carefully about the tests. For example, a doctor will sometimes order an early morning cortisol test and it will come back normal, but that result does not in any way rule out a disorder of the adrenal glands. Do not accept answers like, "It's menopause," or other ovary-related excuses doctors make when they don't know the answer. And do not let an embarrassed doctor put his/her feelings of inadequacy on you by telling you you are not sick. The answer is there and it is their job to find it.
If you've had a head injury I hope you've been seen by a doctor.
Blood work to check Vitamin D, RBC magnesium and Vitamin B12 is important. Deficiencies and low normal labs can cause many symptoms.
I don't know your age. Perimenopause can be an issue as young as 35.
Hello~
I am sorry you are going through this. It sounds stress and anxiety related to me. I would see your doctor and discuss some options for getting this under control.
Have you seen any doctors about this?
You should probably get checked out by medical doctors at a hospital or your family doctor, and I would also strongly advise seeking professional help from a psychologist or therapist if you're becoming anti-social due to it.
It sounds similar to my anxiety issues and they just get worse if you don't get professional help. That was my experience. It's not fun, but it's worth it. And don't give up if you don't like the first or second therapist you find! They're like finding a good hair dresser, sometimes they just don't work for you. Stick with it till you find one you feel comfortable talking to and who you respect and feel is competent in their field.
