I was first labelled as hyper mobile by my sports coach three years ago and confirmed by a doctor this year. I have had loud and sometimes painful cracking in all of my joints since I was a child. I wasn't concerned about it but now I have chronic back pain unless I lie down and my shoulders grind like stones rubbing together. If I try to rotate them (Like shoulder roll exercises) they grind and I end up with stinging pains down into my elbows and I don't know what causes it.
Secondly for the past four years, I randomly experience stabbing pains in my chest and near my heart, it feels like something sharp has been inserted through my ribs and is pinning my diaphragm meaning even the tiniest breath is excruciating, I have to try and breathe them out but the pain can be so intense I can go light headed because I can't breathe in enough air unless I suffer the pain to "push" out the stabbing pain. I have no idea if the two problems are linked only that they prevent me from a lot of normal activities and are distracting and very stressful. If anyone has any idea what might be the cause or a thought of how to stop this from happening, your input would be more than welcome.
