I Can't Breathe, Help

I'm finding it very difficult to breathe recently. It feels like no air will get into my lungs, or like I can't catch my breathe. I keep burping too...but it's not giving me any relief. My right tonsil is completely swollen, and my right nostril has been almost completely blocked from air for almost a year now. I find it hard to eat ...mainly because after I eat I will go through the torture of finding it hard to breathe. Food sometimes gets stuck back there too now. Right now I'm at a point where I'm wheezing, and it sounds pretty harsh when I breathe...the wheezing is coming from my throat and the harsh noise is coming from where my lungs are. I don't feel any pain in my lungs, and i don't feel any chest pain. It's just really hard to breathe and it's making me feel anxious and scared.
I usually get this everyday and every night, and have lost so much weight from not eating right anymore. I weigh around 114 pounds, and am 5'4...and I am 21 years old. I'm a girl. I do have a small cold right now, for the last 2 days...but for some reason I am wheezing like never before and im scared. Any help?? Please...!! Should i go to the doctors? What is this that i have been fighting for 3 years now?? Any treatments for it?? Thanks.....i just really don't know what to do anymore.

Sounds like it might be anxiety or panic attacks. I have the same problem as well.

YES! Go to the doctors!  Sounds like you could have a bad case of tonsillitis or step throat  and the infection may have moved to your chest.  You will probably need some antibiotics to clear this up which you can only get from a doctors visit.  Anytime you have problems breathing (and are scared regarding this) you should not even question going to a doctor - GO!  The doctors are there to help.
