I don't know where else to turn

For the last 6 months, I have been experiencing a variety of GI issues including nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. When the vomiting first began and had been occurring for three months. I checked into the doctor where I had bloodwork, urine sample, Ultrasound and CT scan done, all of which was good and healthy. Afterward, I was referred to a GI specialist. Since then, I have been consistently throwing up including throwing blood up. I had since gotten a CT done with contrast which was also negative. Last week, I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done and was told that everything was normal.

The doctor suggested I look into a psychological assessment. I have been suffering for the last six months including throwing up blood. I have no psychological stressors and have something medically wrong with me and I feel like my doctors are not doing anything.

I am wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences where these tests have shown no issues yet continue to have the GI issues

And yes, I have had similar experiences but not throwing up blood.  I have had abdominal discomfort and swelling whilst feeling bruised as though kicked in the abdomen.  The doctors did the tests and found only mild diverticulitis which did not really explain my symptoms.  It is really difficult to be in a position where tests are done and no explanation is found.

I have since found that taking antihistamines is helping me enormously.  The swelling is gone, the bruised feeling gone, and I am able to do things that I was really struggling with before, like bending down.  It seems there is something called histamine intolerance which is a likely explanation for what I have been experiencing.  However, throwing up blood is another matter and I cannot see how any psychological illness would cause that.  I don't know where you are but can you ask for a second opinion about that specific matter?

Throwing up blood does not sound like a psychological condition.  It sounds like you need a second opinion.
