I have a pea-sized lump under each armpit and they are not painful.

Hey everyone,

Last week I noticed a small lump under my right armpit, the size of a pea. It's not painful, and it's not right on the surface. You have to push a tiny bit to feel it. It's not red or causing me any discomfort.

I went to the urgent care this week, and the NP said it was 100% a cyst and to not worry about it. Great!

However, I woke up today with the same exactly lump under my left armpit. Same size, same everything.

I doubt that I have two cysts, in the same spot under both armpits. It doesn't have that 'cyst' feel, and I just find it highly unlikely.

Could it be lymph nodes, and what in the world would be causing them to be appearing now? They don't hurt, they are not visible, and you can only know they are there by touching them.

Side note: No irritation to the area (I only use perfume free, aluminum free deodorant), and nothing has changed. The only thing I have been suffering with is allergies for the past year.

Should I be worried? I am looking to see my GP very soon.

Thanks!
