I really need help.

So the other day my doctor put me on desipramine for my despression and panic disorder, and three days later I felt like absolute sh*t. I had many side effects, but one that stayed is my rapid heartbeat/palpitations.

I spoke to my cardiologist and he said it's nothing bad or wrong with my heart(other than my very mild Aortic Stenosis and regurgitation).

I can't relax, and I cant stop crying. Can someone please reassure me!

I can't breathe well, im a little dizzy, I cant stop crying, I am VERY nervous, and I can't focus.

My pulse has been ranging from 80 - 102. My doc said thats ok, and not to worry but I can't help it!

What do I do? I take ativan and it doesnt help at all!

I am also going through withdrawal from my paxil that I was on a week ago.

I have server anxiety and PTSD, i currently take pristqu and clonopin.  These drugs can cause many different side efffects. I would talk to a counslor and see if there is a different combo that you might be better off taking, no mine does not STOP the attacks but some days it does make them where i can refocus long enough to hide them from my kids and control it to some extent, if that makes any sense. Sorry if im not much help but I UNDERSTAND what you go through, today at walmart I made it 12 min before the headaches, rapid heart rate and sweats started adn then I had to just check out and leave. Good luck

I think relaxation therapy with biofeedback would be most helpful.  Or you could get massage therapy.
