I think I am falling apart at 21 years of age.

I am a twenty-one year old female. My fingers and toes are almost always purple and tingling. If they are in one place for too long they go numb. Other concerns that may be related are fatigue, abnormally sad, aches along my spine to my neck, hair loss, and trouble sleeping. I also seem to be sick more often than my friends and family. I've searched the internet and asked around and I have heard it can be anything from just poor circulation or stress to lupus. I don't have an appointment with my regular physician until next week and was hoping to get some insight  sooner.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The symptoms can be due to peripheral vascular disease or disorder of the circulatory system outside of the brain and heart. Other causes could be ypothyroidism, eating disorders like anorexia, Vit B12 deficiency, Addison’s disease, adrenal causes like pheochromocytoma, anemia, Buerger’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome and Raynaud’s disease. You will need some tests like treadmill test, color Doppler, angiography, ultrasonography and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging).
Since I cannot examine you and know other related conditions you may be having, nor is a detailed history possible on net, I have listed the various possibilities that should be looked into. Please consult your PCP to run tests and examination to clinch a diagnosis.
Take care!

You could have lyme disease or be infected with some other kind of bacteria. Not all bacteria shows up in our blood work. Are you an ourdoors person. You don't have to be in a wooded area or have a bullseye rash to have lyme disease. Fatigue, neck pain, lower back pain are the mane symtoms. My husband, my son and myself are all being treated for lyme. It is causing us to have all of your symptoms plus many more. Raynaud's will probably be what your doctor diagnoses you with because of your symptoms with your hands. Lyme causes poor circulation in the body. It causes your body temperature to drop and can cause the chills or hot flashes. Go to my journal and you can see if any of our symptoms sound similar to yours. There are many different kinds of bacteria out there and if untreated could possibly  lead to auto-immune conditions. I hope you check into it before it gets any worse. Proper testing should be done by a lyme specialist only.
