Hi. I am 33, female, previously in ex. health. Aug-05 left ear felt numb. Over next 5 hours, I lost skin sensation to left face, arm and fingers. Blood: mild lymphopenia. Then slow (over weeks) progression of tingling, pins/needles, numbness, burning, cold/wet and falling asleep feeling to left side. V painful random sudden stabbing pains (both sides). Nov-05 prescribed Amitriptyline. 1 x 10mg dose put me in ER with severe dystonic reaction. Jan-06, symptoms persist plus random muscle spasms

Since you tested positive for anti-thyroperoxidase antibody, you should get a complete thyroid check up including TSH, T3, T4, FT3, FT4, T7. Thyroid problem can cause all the weird symptoms.
