Inflammed Liver, Vomiting, Bile and severe Pain

Last night something happened to me for the second time. I was alseep and woke up to an intense unbearable pain from the font of my upper stomach. The area is inflammed and hardened and swollen. I had trouble breathing and the pain was excruiating...I got up and threw up for an hour but then the pain got worse and i couldnt sit down or lay down or  stand up! I threw up some more until it the "food" type sick was progressively more clear and more acidic. It was so acidic i nearly choked and it burnt my mouth. The pain in my upper stomach (It is the liver i believe whee the pain was coming from) the two left and rights side of my upper stomach was inflammed too. I was cold and dizzy and sweating like no tomorrow. This whole ordeal went on for 5 hours.
It has happened before but that time it was the pain only ad it was just as bad but i didnt throw up or sweat.
It felt like something inside me was enlarging or wanting to burst and it was adding pressure to every other organ which was making me throw up....I was wailing in pain and almost on another planet it was so painful. I on both occassions nearly called an ambulance...the only reason I didnt is because I am not familiar with my med policy and if it covers that! please help:) is it serious?

This is very serious.  A couple of questions.  Are you male or female?  How old are you?  The reason I ask is that my husband had the same symptoms 9 months ago and they have finally diagnosed him with PSC.  It is a very rare liver disease and they don't know what causes it and the only cure is a transplant.  We are waiting to go on the list now.  I don't mean to scare you but this sounds like the same thing.  Actually, myself with the help of the National Liver Foundation diagnosed him before the doctors did.

OH boy. I cannot say if they will think it is an emergency or not. But if you feel that sick and that bad it sounds like one to me and you need to go. You need to get checked out and I suggest having someone take you or go by the ambulance if you cannot drive. I am sorry you are so sick, please get help and I will say a prayer for you to feel better.
