Is mono causing this?

I was diagnosed with mono a month ago and now I'm starting to have some unsettling symptoms. It started with confusion about 2-3 weeks ago followed by forgetfulness, difficulty finding the right words, difficulty thinking, pains and weakness on the left side of my body (Namely the arm, followed by the leg a few days later, although it isn't as bad and I'm starting to have weakness on the right side now as well), multiple eye issues (strain, focusing on the the background, blurring, burning, watering and pain), dizziness, and my headaches seem to have changed location. They used to be primarily on the top right hand side but now they are on the back right hand side. I have an appointment scheduled for Tuesday but some advice or stories from others who have suffered through similar symptoms would be reassuring as I'm a rather... paranoid person. Also, my mother has a history of migraines if that helps.

My doctor put in a referral for a neurology appointment that I have to call in for on friday. She said that I should be fine as my records don't show that I have some awful disease or condition that I could've inherited, but hey, better safe than sorry.
