Your post caught my eye because I relate to a lot of what you are going through. I absolutely know the horrors of anxiety. I suffer from generalized anxiety and social anxiety. It sounds like you may have an anxiety type disorder. You could also have a medical condition that looks like an anxiety disorder or both.
For instance you may have insulin resistance (condition in which the body does not efficiently use insulin, so your pancreas has to make a lot more insulin to regulate blood glucose) which makes you feel very shaky, irritable, and anxious when you have not eaten.
When you feel you are able to see a doctor it would be very beneficial to request a fasting glucose tolerance test. This would help to determine if insulin resistance may be causing or contributing to your anxiety.

Lastly, I want to share my personal experience with St. John’s Wort. I tried it years ago and it significantly made my anxiety worse. A few other supplements and various medications have as well. I am now very cautious about all supplements, vitamins, and medications I take. I keep a log of when I begin a new supplement or medication and write a short daily note about how I feel. This helps tremendously in identifying what could be the cause of increased anxiety.
I also begin at the very lowest dose of anything I take and I do not increase it for at least a week. This gives me time to see if I am having an adverse reaction to it.

Welcome to the forum.
1. Can you follow a diebetic type of a diet for a while?
Eat many small meals daily, quality fresh food only, without sugary sweet junk or processed food and if possible ditch the pepsi and sodas in general.
There's not ONE useful ingredient in it!
2 The next recommendation is: go to the Normal Breathing website and learn how to breathe properly. You should have guessed by now that there's more to breathing, than just inhaling and exhaling.
It'll take a few weeks of practicing proper breathing techniques,before your brain picks it up the new breathing pattern automatically (subconscious)
This will make a huge difference, as when you breath PROPERLY you will have less anxiety!
3. Once you have normalized your breathing, it can now become your best
tool for medication. It's called conscious deep breathing. Just by doing this
and paying attention only to your breathing, you will get into a meditative state. Keep it for 5 minutes to start and if you get distracted, simply start over.
Choosing the right place and time will help and once comfortable with it,
then you can go to 10-15 min. each time.
4. Do a search for EFT (emotional freedom techniques). it should be still free-I haven't checked in a while- to download a manual. It very easy to learn ,what they call the basic recipe, which is a series of tapping with your fingers specific energy points, mainly around your face.
This will allow you to tame any stress or anxiety that you may be feeling.
It's not a cure by any means, but it will help.
If the cause was identified, then you could address the cause(s), however,
you need to see a doctor and then to be referred to a therapist and/or to take some medication (that would be my last option, personally). I would exhaust all other possibilities first. But that's just me.
5. Stay fit and active and connect with nature every chance you get.
6. Listen to soothing music. I play some classical music for background when doing things around the house.

It can be anxiety, but I agree that it could also be blood sugar. I think you should muster up all of your strength and courage and go to a doctor. It may not be something horrible and could easily be cured/managed.
If it is anxiety, which isn't a death sentence either, there are medications and coping techniques for that too.

I can't give you any advice on panic attacks, but the other symptoms you described I have when my glucose (sugar) gets low. I am a Type II diabetic and when my BG gets low, I have tunnel (kaleidoscope) vision, I will shake, especially my hands, I will get very hot, dizzy, my heart beat rate goes up and I start getting a little disoriented. I can eat something with sugar in it and in about 10-15 minutes all the symptoms vanish.
