Jerky peripheral vision

I am a 31 y/o female who has been diagnosed with Graves disease and also migraine.

When my migraine first presented I was left with something called visual snow where I see white static in my field of vision along with afterimages and trails... this has settled over the years and seems better. Recently however I have noticed that when walking on a sidewalk I can see the cracks in the side walk jerking.. almost as if my vision is fragmented. I am also having issues when I am in the car watching other cars pass by... they seem to be jerking in my field of vision, not really fragmented, but they just don't seem fluid. I am concerned that this is going to get worse, but none of my dr.s has an answer for me. I have seen migraine specialists, neurologists, opthalmologists, neuro opthalmologists, etc. I can't find much online about it either. I have recently had a Lyme test come back positive, but I haven't really heard of this in lymes... as far as cars looking funny. I would say it almost seems like a nystagmus type of image where it wiggles back and fourth, but my eye isn't wiggling at all as I've recorded it.

I hope the doctors are able to determine what's wrong.   I hate to see or hear about people suffering - even those I don't know personally.

         Wishing you a good outcome!

Thanks, I actually take lots of magnesium for migraines.

I am going to get a blood panel done to check all vitamins though, thank you!

Since you have seen doctors and they can't seem to figure it out, have one of them do a metabolic blood test and have them check your mineral levels, too.  Sounds to me that you have a magnesium deficiency.  It can cause all sorts of symptoms including: tremors, involuntary eye movements, muscle spasms, all over pain, malaise, anxiety attacks, etc.    Google magnesium deficiency and see how many of these symptoms you have.  Then see your doctor to determine how much and what type of magnesium you need.

     Wishing you the best.
