Kidney problem?

If anyone could help that would be great...I'm frantic!! For the past month I have noticed that my urine was cloudy and had a strong odor so I took a weeks worth of antibiotics and thought nothing of it (UTI) and it started happening again. Within the past month I have stopped eating gradually, I have this strange taste in my mouth, I'm very tired, confused easily, and I drink bottles of water of day and hardly urinate, maybe once during the day. I am constantly nauseated and just sick feeling and out of breath by doing the smallest thing. For the past four days, I have been urinating blood, and not oh it's pink, It is completely opaque red. I have no pain at all... is this a kidney infection, or something more serious like kidney failure, or a tumor I don't know at this point
I'm on Topamax, Wellbuitrin, and Fluoxetine
Thank you for any suggestions or tips or comparable stories, and yes I'm going to the dr. I would like to know what to expect. Everyone take care

Well peeing blood is a bad thing. All i can tell you is that last year i lacerated my kidney in 3 places while wrestling, went home, peed blood, went to the hospital, and then they kept me in the hospital for 4 days. There might be something wrong with your kidney, but you just cant feel it because your kidney barely has any nerves in it. My kidney hurt only went I initially lacerated it. After about five minutes I was fine and went back to practice, which was a bad thing. I would get an x-ray or get it checked out.

I'm on about 10 different meds for disc herniations in my neck - causing daily migraines.  Also have chronic fatigue and top that off with a probable case of bi-polar?  I'm taking more meds than I can count, and Just started taking abilify about 3 weeks ago.  Taken along with Cymbalta it seems to be the perfect combo to get my brain working properly.  Especially when you add provigil on board!

However,  Now I seem to always have cloudy urine, and this really worries me because I feel better than I have in YEARS!  I'd hate to have to stop any of these meds - together they've gotten me out of my comatose state and brought me back to life.

Anyone feel It'd be helpful to just break up my medicines into AM and PM dosages so I don't shock my body all at once with so much medicine?  Any comments are helpful. I'm going for a blood test this week some time.  Just trying to calm myself beforehand.

Thanks.

Started more than a couple years ago for me.  It drives me crazy because of the constant build up of fluid and headace.  For your urine problems were you taking the pill that numbs the area so it doesnt burn when you go, if so that will cause the red urine.  unless you ate tons of beets.  LOL

LOL I know I was 19 when I had my brain tumor, I'm 21 now, I swear... I eat right stay in shape, it's like the more apthethic you are the better. Well keep me posted on the dr. and the fluid is annoying, it can really begin to irritate me sometimes. I don't need to tell you right? Doctors are like trying to tell me this is like the big bang theory everything just started all at one on coincidence.....no I think it has something to do with the surgery. Lucky guess is all. I'm going to wait on urology and see I'm thinking it might be the medicine, I have lost fifteen pounds in the past month, I know I know!! But it's not the oh I'm not hungry, I will eat and become physically nauseated to the point I don't want to move or (graphic) sorry I have food coming back up in my throat. Even if I'm hungry I will try to eat but it doesn't end up the best, so I try to drink calories, to stabilze my weight, but not going so hot. Do you have any other symptoms beside fluid and headaches? and how did yours start?

No unfortuantley it hasnt.  Its very hard to live with headaches and fluid filling in ears and having doctors think your crazy.  I have yet another appointment coming up.  I know I have a CSF leak but get a doctor to agree.  Have you seen a urologist for your problem.  Oh by the way join the club I never thought this young myself I would be falling apart. Achy joints and all my sister and I say we were put togehter with DNA scraps.  LOL

I still do have that problem also! I'm falling apart I know : ) I gave up~ However I talked to my boyfriend's dad's girlfriend who is a radiology tech. she does tests like spinal taps and is nuclear medicine more so. I was telling her and she said that it sounds like it was a CSF leak and just beacause I couldn't get enough fluid at the office visit for a beta protein strip test, that doesn't mean it wasn't a CSF leak....If leaks are intermittent or extremely small, a spinal tap will be the only way they will be able to track the fluid. She said you can say I want one done and then decide where to go after that, so Im not sure what I'm going to do yet. Your situation hasn't changed unfortunately?

Pixieangel is that you from last year?  How is your head feeling.  for your urine you might have a kidney infection which can cause blood in the urine.

Oh It is me from me from last year, this is still my safe place lol... although no recurrent tumors thankfully I'm having a hard time treating the trigeminal neuralgia that resulted from the surgery... I have tried Tegretol (XR and reg), Neurontin, Cytotec (off label), Verapamil, Topamax current- it is all the side effects... could side effects be causing some of all these issues? so that's keeping me busy, thank you!! And of course I will let you know when I find out any news
