Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The normal range of values for AST (SGOT) is from 5 to 40 units per liter of serum (the liquid part of the blood). Yours is just at 30 which is normal.
The normal range of values for ALT (SGPT) is from 7 to 56 units per liter of serum. This at 42 is normal. Take care!

Hello,
Your SGPT level is slightly higher than normal. SGPT and SGOT are the liver enzymes that are normally present inside the liver cells. When some liver cells gets damaged, these enzymes are liberated in the blood.
Could you tell me how old are you ? Are you having any present illness or symptoms ? Are you taking any medications ?

Regards
