Have they checked your urine for any infections?
If you get urinary infections and/or kidney stones, that can give you the pains in the the back near your ribs, make you feel sick and also give you the runs and also make you feel tired.
If you are still having pains you really need to go back to your doctor. When you go take a urine sample with you.
You need to discuss the results of the colonoscopy with our doctor and explain to him all the symptoms you are experiencing.
This is your body and your health. If you do not go back to the doctor, they certainly will not bother with you and will think everything has settled.
Write a list of all your symptoms to give to your doctor as this may help him and makes sure that you do not forget anything.
A blood test to make sure that you are not anaemic and one to check your thyroid and kidney functions would be a good idea as well as the breath test for the helibacter pilori bug.
Best wishes
I know it deff had nothing to do with my ovaries, ive had problems over a year n its a completely different feeling in a different are so that i know for sure. They disnt tell me anything with the conolonscopy. They came in said they didnt find anything n didnt know what it was n walked out so thats why im really upset n not going back to tem.
The cysts on your ovaries can give you pain in the belly from time to time.
When you say you had a colonoscopy, did they say at all that you have diverticular disease?
It would also be worth getting checked out for halibacter pilori. A breath or faeces test is more accurate than a blood test.
Make sure you eat a healthy balanced meal with lots of fibre so that you do not get constipated. If you seee blood, this is likely to be from haemorroids which are veins in the anul area that are aggravated by either constipation or diarrhea.
My daughter used to suffer really badly with symptoms that you have and she too has polycistic ovaries. Eventaully it was found that she had the helibacter pilori bacteria. Once she received treatment for that, she is now much better.
Make sure also that you drink plenty of water, this will keep you hydrated. Gentle exercise also helps with bowel movements.
Hope you get sorted out very soon.
Best wishes.
