Low fever

My daughter has flu like symptoms. We were at the doctors yesterday and were told it is just a cold. She still has chills but her body temp is between 94.1 and 95. What could cause such low temp? And should  I take her back to the doctor?

some viral infections can lower the body temperature instead of raising it.

maybe do CBC+ sed. rate. but all she can do is to wait it out really. do not give her antibiotics, only local treatment for sore throat if necessary.
