Lump on Sternum

I noticed a lump on my sternum 2 weeks ago.  Was seen by emergency doctor, who said it could be a lipoma (benign) --then I went to my GYN who ordered  a mammogram and a breast ultrasound. They didn't see anything on either. Then I went to a regular surgeon who indicated it was normal. He indicated if it grows to come back. Really? My primary said Xrays and CT scans won't show anything. And thought I should get it biopsied. The surgeon indicated they wouldn't recommend and a needle aspiration won't tell them anything. He said they could remove it to determine what it is, but its too small to pursue.

I still wish to get it checked out. It is about 3/4 inch wide. I am tired of running to doctors who aren't really sure. I am wondering what type is the RIGHT type of doctor to see. I am thinking an orthopedic doctor. Any thoughts?
