Lump on my left side, hurts to touch

What could the ball on my left side be??? It's on my ribs and it hurts to touch.

My side was itchy the other day so I went to itch it and it hurt , later I went to itch it again and there was more pain and found a ball of I don't know what right were it hurts. It's under the skin so you can't really see if above the skin. Sometimes you can see the lump a bit. It seems to get bigger and smaller. It moves a little bit.

The ball is on my left side on my ribs. I noticed yesterday that my whole left side Burt as well, the ball hurt, my arm hurt and felt weak, my thigh thigh hurt, thef side of my back and neck hurt.
My right thigh hurt but that was from yoga the otherday. My right thigh was hurting before I found the ball on Thursday.
Could the ball be causing all the pain on my left side???

What could this ball be???

It is small (pea size) and under the skin, are boils not on the skin???
Luckily it doesn't hurt anymore. Though it keeps moving, sometimes it'll be lower down and other times it's right under my armpit.

I went to the walk in clinik yesterday with my mum, the doctor ensured us there is nothing to worry about, that if there were anything to worry about it wouldn't hurt.

My mum told me to keep an eye on it, and that if it gets anyworse shell book menan appointment with my doctor. Because the doctor I saw wasn't my doctor.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
In all probability there is a boil or abscess. You can treat this by applying a warm cloth to the area. This encourages the pus to come to the surface, make a mouth and drain. Once the boil has drained, the area should be washed with antibacterial soap and an antibacterial cream applied and kept dry, bandaged and sterile.  However, if you have any medical problems like diabetes, please consult a doctor, and do not wait for it to heal. Also if the boil appears to spread, the area around it becomes progressively red, the also consult a doctor. This may need incision and drainage.
In your case I would recommend you consult a doctor immediately. It will probably need to be drained unless it is very small. Take care!
