Multiple symptoms and Desperate for answers...

If you are reading this please give me something:(. I was in to lifting weights and rigorous exercises.  I have 4 children who I have a hard time keeping up with in the last two years.  It's truly heartbreaking to not be able to hold your children or wrestle with my twin boys.  Two years ago I returned to my primary care physician with chronic low back pain.  She referred me to physical therapy.  I completed pt.  He suggested it was my lack of flexibility. Next, the primary had an X-ray (normal results). After she referred me to a pain management doctor.  I also went to another physical therapist who thought the concern was my lack of small stomach muscle control from multiple pregnancies and surgeries of the abdominal area. MRIs of the lower back we're good.  I was also seeking chiropractic care.  She believes it is all structural.  The pain moved to my mid back and neck about 8 months ago.  Mid back MRI had two slight bulges, but the pain management doc says that is not the source of the pain.  I have tried meds like Effexor and gabapentin without success.  RELATED SYMPTOMS:  7 months of horrible anxiety issues (no prior anxiety issues), 7 months of constant infections (strep, pneumonia, 4 sinus infections, 4 bladder infections). I had never had any of these in the past 34 years of my life!  My newest symptom is tooth pain on the right side of my face; however the dentist does not see any issues via X-ray or exam.  I went from healthy super mom of 4, working full time as a teacher, and an individual dedicated to physical activity to feeling anxiety, unmotivated, immune compromised, and in constant pain. Could these all be related?  The back pain has been the constant.  The others just started about 7 months ago.  The only prior diagnosis I have had in my life is IBS.  I am now seeing an ENT, Urologist, pain management specialist, psychiatrist for anxiety, chiropractor 2x a week, and will see a rhementologist (misspelled) next month.  Any ideas?  I'm starting to become depressed because I feel like it will never end.  Some doctor somewhere has to have the answer...

I like the advice that you give, however, you didn't put any punctuation  and at first I thought you were telling Shannon to give up juice and everything green she could find!  LOL
Then I realized you were suggesting juicing everything green - yes, green juice is excellent for detoxing.
I would go one step further -  take a good multiple -  a prenatal is good - don't have to be pregnant to take it - as many women are lacking in folic acid.

I am not a doctor but I believe that if you give up all processed sugar, this means no Coke, Pepsi or diet anything, processed, food, all diary products and red meat and juice everything green you can find, you may throw fruits in if you like but mainly everything green I believe your body will thank you. I had shingles and this is what I did and I never went to a doctor, my urologist told me I had shingles is how I found out. Also, I would take a tsp  of organic apple cider vinegar and a tsp of raw honey from a beekeeper. Any organic apple cider vinegar or honey you get in at  the grocery has been pasteurized which kills the good stuff you need. Put the ACV in a bottle of water as the vinegar is too strong by itself, it must be diluted, the honey is good for you anytime. This will balance your Ph Factor. I hope this will help you. I know it is no fun to feel lousy. And you need a minimum of 12 hugs a day, yep, it heals the broken parts.

Hi Shanna,

I'm not a doctor but I can relate to what you're going thru and feeling.  I'm sorry you're going thru this especially with younger children.  Have you been tested for Lyme Disease?  If not you should do it immediately.  I live in IL and I had alot of the symptoms you are having and more.  One of my first symptoms was constant low back pain.  I thought it was ovarian related and then possibly a slipped disc.  My health deteriorated over a 2-3 year period and it peaked in 2013 with a complete systemic crisis.  My anxiety was terrible.  I thought it was menopause related since I was in my 40's and my periods had become very irregular.  I begged my primary doctor to test me for several things including Lyme disease and West Nile Virus.  This was the third or fourth primary care doctor I had seen in a 3 year period in addition to a gynecologist, a chiropractor, and a psychiatrist, multiple ER visits not to mention all the blood work, xrays and medication.  Lots of misdiagnosis.  I was finally diagnosed with Lyme Disease in Sept 2013.  Long term since I've had it for awhile and didn't know.  The problem with Lyme disease is it usually comes with other co-infections or viruses and multiple unexplained symptoms.  It can be difficult to treat depending on how long you've had it.  Also, IBS has been associated with Epstein Barr Virus which causes Mono.  I had Mono when I was five months pregnant with my second daughter.  I had never been more ill in my life.  Alot of viruses stay dormant in your system after initial infection but a trigger can reactivate them.  You mentioned you've been getting pain management for your back pain.  Have you been getting corticosteroid injections?  I've read that those can reactivate dormant viruses and cause flare-ups making symptoms worse as well as Prednisone (a steroid) which rheumatologists prescribe for auto-immune disorders.  Those inhibit your immune system and basically shut it off which is good if you only have an auto-immune disorder but bad if you have Lyme disease bacteria or a virus that will quickly replicate itself and make you even more sick since your immune system is disabled and can't fight back.  If you can, get tested for Lyme disease and any possible co-infections thru a reputable lab that includes the western blot test and stay away from steroids or anything that suppresses your immune system until you get those results.  I was also diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis a few weeks before the Lyme disease. My doctor tested my rheumatoid factor because I was complaining of my elbow and knee joints hurting.  Whether they're related or not, I don't know.  I have to get rid of the Lyme disease first and see if other issues resolve on their own.  I hope this information is helpful to you.  Let me know what your thoughts are about this.
Sincerely,
Kim

I am not in the medical field - just posted my own problem.  I'd just like to say if you haven't found out what your white cell count is, you might want to do that.  With all the different infections you've been having, you might need to find out if you have some type of situation that effects your immune system.  As for your back, I have arthritis in my lower back just from walking on concrete floors at my job most of my life.  If you have bulges in your back, a lot of times those are discs that are out of place, herniated, etc.  If you haven't seen an orthopedist, I'd see one.  I feel badly for you - and your children.  Good luck!
