My husband has unexplained weight loss 40lbs in 4 months

My husband has lost 40 lbs since Nov. he is experiencing terrible night sweats, he is fatigued and today while hanging with his dad said his blood sugar level measured 25??? He went to dr. Had blood test done a week ago we have yet to hear anything from the doctor.

I was almost exactly the same with the weight loss and similar symptoms.  When I went to the doctor, he discovered I was diabetic and told me not to let my glucose level get below 60 nor above 135 except after meals.

     He might have a tape worm from eating pork that was not cooked properly or not cooked long enough.
    The trichenosis can be cured.  He would need to see a doctor about a good anti-parasitic and then take epsom salts to expel the worm.
    (My mom had this when we lived in Europe).  She lost a lot of weight in very little time.

I believe at the beginning, diabetes can present this way, but I'm not sure if that's what's going on or not.  I know it's hard to wait for results.
