No Doctor can say what this is?

My husband has  bluish/gray spots on his shins about the size of a dime to a nickle, the older ones he has had for 30+ years are indentations, dry, grayish on the middle. About 6 doctors have seen them over the years went in the hospital for a sever nose bleed I think every resident in the  hospital came in to look at his legs.
Today was really over the top VA dermatologist 2 PA's & one doctor looked at them "scars from mosquito bites" Give me a break as a Nurses Aide for over 31 years I have never seen anything like it,I bathed a heck of allot of patients over the years too. Hubby was in Viet Nam about 2 years & 3 months back in the 1970's he did not have the
lesions before he went over they showed up when he was home about 8-9 months. He was around Agent Orange and all of the other sprays too.He drove a truck over there, seems clear to me did not have it before he went over there has it now  & 30+years also has a new one coming up??? Has been under allot of stress the last 6 months.
Any Ideas????

Nose bled has nothing to d with this problem was in Viet Nam almost 2 years did not have it before he went there. When he came back about 6 month after he came back this showed up on his legs.He has seen many, many doctors even the VA dermatologist did not know what this is he has had it about 38 years now.At the VA they said it was from mosqutoe  bites???Uploaded pictures under bouvpap ?Yes those hole looking spots are indentations they stay dry all of the time never weeping like usual leg ulcers.
We are in our 60's now would love to know what this is before I croak comes from being a nosy x-nurses aide.

Hi
Welcome to the forum!
Yes, the lesions do appear strange. What catches my attention is the nose bleed. There is a chance that when your husband went to VietNam, he caught a virus or parasitic infection that altered his clotting mechanism. Clotting disorder can also come up with deficiency of Vit K and other clotting factors. This could cause tiny bleeds on and off wherever there is friction or pressure. The tiny bleeds would look like bluish patches and on healing may leave a grayish discoloration.
Maybe you should consult a hematologist and take it up there. Not sure if this will help, but its worth a try.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
