Numb down my right side

Hi, I'll start by giving a quick run down of what's been going on, 10 days ago I felt a bit run down, no cold or flu symptoms or anything just really tierd like I'd done too much. Two day later I woke up in agony all the muscles in my chest rib and upper back hurt like I'd been doing to much excersize but I'd done nothing. Went to doctors they did a blood test, urine tes something to see if I had clot etc but apart from slight temp and showing signs of fighting infection all was clear, told was probably a virus and muscle fatigue, go rest. It got gradually worse until I was in constant pain, about day six of being ill I went numb across my right ribs and arm, ended up in A&E did loads of tests, heart trace chest x ray bloods all clear, told me to go home and see my gp if it got worse, 3 days later my whole right side is numb can't lay or sit for long because my upper back and rib area starts getting painfull. My right leg hurts, feels heavy still and numb like pins and needles but not tingly. got pain on upper body, really bad if I lay down too long so iv not really slept in a week.been back to doctors and got some pills for the pain and she has asked for an urgent mri but I am still waiting and am now numb from my neck to my foot, freezing cold and if I touch my skin I get a white handprints for about 15 seconds. Also sometimes, especially around my ribs, my skin feels sore to touch kind of like sunburn. Oh I'm 29 and a female and otherwise relatively healthy, I am also newly diagnosed bipolar but probably not relevant, I just really want to know what's going on?

The doctor took me off for four months as I was pretty stable and was to go back if I felt I needed them. So i have been on nothing at all.

Since you're newly diagnosed with bipolar disorder,  have you been put on new meds you've never been on before?
