Go to an OBGYN if you can. You could have experienced nerve damage in childbirth, particularly in the pelvic floor. If you feel pain, that means you are not numb, but it sounds like intercourse is uncomfortable. Are you completely unable to feel your clitoris? The clitoris is responsible for female orgasm and pleasure during intercourse, if the clitoris has been severely injured or if blood vessels were crushed in childbirth this can be damaging for clitoral sensation. Is your pain inside the vagina? Do you only have pain during vaginal penetration? Have you tried manually stimulating yourself during intercourse? Any vaginal pain during intercourse is a good reason to see a doctor, it could be an injury, prolapse or an infection.
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Part of this is stress related. Other than this there could be some vaginal dryness or infection. It could also be due to hormonal disturbances. I suggest you consult your gynecologist once. Take care!
