Numbness and memory loss

Hi guys, I am a little concerned about something that happened today. I seemed to suffer brief kind of memory loss combined with headache and numbness in 1 hand and around my lips.

I was bouncing on a trampoline, all was going well and i was quite impressed that i seemed to be able to go for ages without getting puffed out compared to normal. The first thing i noticed was when me and my friend stopped for a rest and i tried to ask him about a job that he had just applied for, but i went completely blank and could not for the life of me remember what the job was. I did not take much notice of this as everybody goes blank once in a while. Next, my dog Finley was playing around the trampoline at the time and my mate said something like " Finley keeps trying to get up " And i could not remember who Finley was. I was looking at the dog thinking err i think thats Finley but i am not sure.I still felt fine at this point. Next a neighbor of mine came over and was asking very simple questions that i would normally have been able to answer but i had to stop and say "sorry i have completely forgotten what i was trying to say." I started to feel a bit light headed at this point and went inside to rest. While i was sat down my entire hand went numb followed by the area around my lips. I also felt quite a strong head ache come on. The numbness only lasted for a few minutes but the headache would not go away so i decided to sleep it off. Pretty strange no?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The memory loss could just be due to concussion (may be from the trampoline jump) which at times persists for years and all of a sudden disappears and the person remembers everything. Memory loss is also a common symptom of frontal lobe injury. Disorders of the hypothalamus, chronic fatigue syndrome and
psychiatric disorders like depression too cause similar symptoms.
Since you also have numbness, consider Vit B 12 deficiency, diabtes and hypothyroidism.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Do consult your doctor. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

I would get it checked out.  It could be a migraine but it could just as easily be something else.  Is best to consult with a doctor.
