Please Help Me - Mystery Symptoms

I've been plagued with many symptoms for the past 4 years, and not just me, my husband too.
Just did a physical last week, and everything was normal EXCEPT my neutrophil count. It is LOW.
Normal range is 2.3 - 8.0 and mine is 2.1. (It was also low the past 2 years).
My husband physical is the same.

Secondly, I have CHRONIC nerve tinglings over my ENTIRE BODY - limbs, face, scalp, everywhere. I have JOINT PAIN - all joints. I get internal tremors and headaches daily.
Constant runny nose - never had allergies before. ???? sinus pressure, etc, (My HUSBAND does too).
Lupus and arthritis were ruled out.
This seems like its a serious disease.  What does this sound like?
Is it HIV or cancer????????????????????/
Please help.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Low neutrophil count is seen in first few days of influenza, mumps, rubella, typhoid, hepatitis, lupus, dialysis and spleen enlargement. So these need to be ruled out. Enlarged spleen is seen in anemia, leukemia, malaria, tuberculosis, lymphomas, hepatitis, cirrhosis etc. If you are in malaria prone area, then get this tested.
Chronic allergy to a pet dander, mold, dust, pollen etc could also be the cause.
Please discuss these possibilities with your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral. Take care!

Check out your bedroom for hidden allergens.  First steam the room . You can do this by boiling a kettle full of water with the lid off.  Close all windows and doors whilst this is done then leave the room for a couple of hours.  Any allergens in the air will then be taken by the steam and deposited down on the surfaces.  Then spring clean madly.  Take bedlinen and blankets out of the room wash and dry in the sun (if you can).  Then before going to bed, both shower and wash your hair and put on clean nightwear.  Now in the morning if you are feeling better then maybe it is an allergen or toxin.  Don't forget to have some fun doing this.  All the best!
