Unexplained illness

Starting feeling sick end of 2020 with severe tiredness and malaise.  Feb of 2021 started to notice lack of appetite and queasy stomach and bowel problems.  Then in May of 2021, headaches started after an injection in my hip and have been chronic since.  My appetite better but no where near normal, have lost 15 lbs.  Headaches are daily as is the fatigue and stomach issues.  Have no energy but push to be functional.  Initially they thought I had Lyme Dx and treated me with amoxillin, with no improvement.  Then said I might have long haul Covid, (Never had it ) then 2 infectious dx doctors ruled that out.  Have seen neurologists, infectious dx, gi doctors as well as my family dr. and endocrinology, cardiovascular.   All tests and Mri and Ct normal.  I am 79 and don't know what to do next.  The most they offer is anti-depressants.  I am not depresssed but after two years of feeling this way I'm getting there.

This sounds very frustrating ...my first thoughts were deficiencies ...b12 and or vit D?? B12 specifically can wipe you right out and often occurs because of tummy troubles leaving you unable to absorb it from foods? Assuming the injection in your hip is a steriod? Is that for arthritis? Do you take supplements?  I guessing endo have ruled out thyroid issues ...could the headaches be a secondary symtom due to stress over the original symtoms? I'm sure all the above have been checked but this is what springs to mind ...unless it's an autoimmune type problem?? I hope you find answers ...make sure you update and let us know how you get on xxx

Thank you for your response.  I do have pernicious anemia, but B12 is good??? I don't take supplements other than B12 and Vit D. Yes, have had thyroid testing.  All labs ok!!
