What should I do? Is it tonsillitis?

I been sick on and off for awhile now and everyone I get sick I have to go to the hospital cause I can't breath. My tonsils been getting really swollen. I have pain in my ears and only occurs while swallowing, I have chills, fatigue, fever and of course difficulty swallowing. I have an impaired voice. Nasal congestion and runny nose. And bad breath, coughing, enlarged neck lymph nodes, excess salivation, headache, I'm breathing by mouth, poor to no appetite, red and white pus pockets, I'm snoring, and my tonsils are swollen. I have these symptoms and they always tell me it's a bacterial infection. But I thinks it's more than that. They refuse to do further test on me and it feels like I'm getting worse since I been having to go to the hospital to get a shot on my butt to get my breathing again. I'm starting to lose weight and cold flu medication doesn't help nothing does and I just feel worse. What should I do? Is it tonsillitis?

I agree that you should see other doctors if the current one could not help treat your condition. Sometimes you just need to consult other doctors to know what really ails you. Hope you get treated soon.

It sounds like a bad strep throat. I am surprised they have not done a culture on it to determine what kind.  I would go again and insist on some tests and tell them how awful you feel. Also, your flu shot could be causing a reaction, so, between the two, you definitely need to see a competent doctor.

One thing you can do while you wait to get  seen, start gargling with warm water with 2 tablespoons of vinegar in it with 2 tablespoons of salt, this has been known to really help strep throats.
