Random symptoms. Related? I'm very worried.

I'm 5'4" 102lb female (a bit underweight. not sure why)
Symptoms:
-mild to severe headache has lasted about 2 weeks. worse at night. I think it's from my teeth re-aligning after i've had my wisdom teeth out. Seems to originate in sinuses and jaw. sensative to light.
-Light-headedness, close to fainting upon standing (occurs very often. has been happening for months)
-loss of appetite
-bloating and gas. I always feel a gas bubble in my stomach that won't come out either end. A lot of flatulance too.
-irregular periods
-most worrisome: i'm lactating. breasts slightly swollen.

I shouldn't be pregnant. Taking yaz birth control as directed.
other prescriptions: Effexor XR, clonazipam, lamictal

I'm pretty sure this isn't related to my regular prescriptions. I'm switching back to ortho tri-cyclin asap to eliminate possible yaz side-effects.

Even if don not switch off Effexor,since you have been using it for three years and also that you cant tolerate with drawls. you must take care how to use the Oral contraceptives like Yaz and Ortho tri cyclen.Most of the OCP have side effects occurring on high percentage in maximum number of patients-like abdominal bloating which causes flatulence,migraine,tooth pain,light headedness,breast pain and tenderness and secretions and a lot more.Could you tell me why was the drug Effexor,clonazipam or other anti depressants been prescribed.What ever the time you have started taking Yaz and Effexor (before or after either drug taken) but still they seem to be aggravating their effects.Be sure to talk these issues with your Doc.

Based on the information you have provided me,I could see that the symptoms have been aggravating and possibly been relieving once you taken Effexor and Yaz simultaneously.These symptoms seems to occurring as an association.Even though these two classes of drugs don not have known interaction but still they do cause similar side affects.Yaz like oral contraceptive pills causes menstrual disturbances,breast swelling,tooth disorder and migraine.But if these symptoms were caused due to Yaz then they must precipitated by taking those anti depressants like Effexor.So only symptomatic treatment can be done in such situation.Basing on the pharmacokinetics of the drugs prescribed let them be taken based on their duration of action and elimination.If not these symptoms would certainly be aggravated or precipitated.Talk to your Doc about this prescriptions and he ll give you more detail how come out of this problem.
Have a pregnancy, thyroid test done to eliminate it too.Try to understand the adverse effects and possible out come like your situation.Thanks for the update.

I've actually been drinking some juice when i'm thirsty, and Ensure even if i'm not hungry but should eat. everyone in my household is concerned about my weight so i'm trying to ease their minds.

Some of your symptoms such as headache and light headedness could be attributed to dehydration - even slight.  I noticed you said you haven't had much of an appetite, but are you making sure you are taking in enough fluids?  Try increasing your fluid intake - water, gatorade or electrolyte type drinks, etc. - avoid caffeine, as it will only increase dehydration - and see if it helps at all.

I've been on Effexor XR for over three years. I know it's not that. And I WILL NOT switch off of it because I can't handle the withdrawls.

I will update when i've switched off yaz.
If I miss a period after about a month and a half, I will get a pregnancy test.
If I keep lactating, I will contact my doctor. (i'm kind of in a transition with insurance and such, and it's hard to tell if I'll be able to see my old doctor one more time)

As I go through your set of symptoms,it seems to have some relation with your pregnancy and drug history..Its better you take the pregnancy test and confirm that you are pregnant no way.If you are pregnant then every symptom seems to have a relation with it.But as per the drug history it drives me towards the adverse effects of Effexor drug which causes anorexia,headache,and GI problems like the one you stated.So why have been using that prescription for?Most of the anti deprresant drugs have a side effect of lactating and breasts swelling.So stop the drugs and switch them to other drugs to relieve the actual problem.Get me the updates.
