Recurring cysts

I have these cysts that keep coming back and they are driving me crazy. They form on both of my hips along my c-section( done over a year ago), all along my under wear line, and on my inner thigh and my leg once by my shin. Sometimes it's only one at a time but right now I have about 6 all in different spots. If I'm lucky they won't get bigger than a nickel but I have one right now that's about the size of a quarter and a Half inch tall. Is there any over the counter meds I can take to help? They are painful usually purple looking and stay for a few weeks unless I cut them open myself. It sounds gross but If I don't they just get bigger. Are these normal? Should I be concerned? A warn compress doesn't work? Any advice on what I can do?

I will make an appointment and try to get in this week. I didn't think it was that abnormal because I told my doctor and she just kind of blew it off. I will definitely post the outcome. I had one of these once a couple years ago and it got huge and opened up I couldn't even leave my house for like two weeks because it hurt so bad so I don't think it's because of my csection. I don't think I can see a dermatologist unless my doctor refers me so I would have to see her first it usually takes about two months or so to get in so if it gets worse I will just go to the hospital.

This is something that should be checked out by a specialist. PLEASE MAKE AN APPT WITH A DOCTOR SPECIALIZING IN INFECTIOUS DISEASE OR A DERMATOLOGIST THAT HAS THE ABILITY TO SWAB THE CYST CONTENTS FOR A CULTURE AND SENSITIVITY. YOU MUST ASK THE PERSON ON THE PHONE IF THEY CAN PROVIDE THIS SERVICE BEFORE YOU MAKE AN APPT. THE DERMATOLOGIST MIGHT NOT HAVE SWABS AVAILABLE BUT INFECTIOUS DISEASE USUALLY DOES. YOU MUST RUN THIS TEST SO THAT YOU KNOW WHAT BACTERIA YOU ARE DEALING WITH AND GET THE APPROPRIATE ANTIBIOTIC. ANTIBIOTICS ARE SPECIFIC TO CERTAIN BACTERIAS AND ANTIBIOTICS WORK IN DIFFERENT WAYS...PLEASE DO THIS ASAP!

Also make sure they order an abdominal CT SCAN to make sure you do not have an underlying abcess.

PLEASE IF YOU HAVE A FEVER OVER 100 DEGREES GO IMMEDIATELY & DIRECTLY TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AT YOUR LOCAL HOSPITAL! GO TO THE HOSPITAL AS OPPOSED TO URGENT CARE THAT WONT HAVE ALL THE EQUIPMENT YOU WILL NEED FOR DIAGNOSIS...

I AM VERY WORRIED THAT THIS IS HAPPENING AROUND YOUR C SECTION AREA. DID IT START ONLY AFTER YOUR C SECTION? THIS IS SOMETHING DOCTOR MUST KNOW.. I FEAR YOU MAY HAVE SOME VERY POTENT BACTERIA THAT IS CAUSING THIS... DONT PANIC AS IT MAY BE JUST SOMETHING LIKE IRRITATION FROM YOUR UNDERWEAR, OR A HORMONAL OR ADRENAL IMBALANCE, ETC. I CANNOT SAY BECAUSE I HAVE NOT SEEN IT AND DONT KNOW IF THESE ARE LITTLE OR LARGE CYSTS... ONLY TESTS AND A DOCTOR CAN GIVE YOU A SPECIFIC ANSWER.. BUT I CAN POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION....

BUT PLEASE CALL AND MAKE A DOCTOR APPT - INFECTION DISEASE SPECIALIST - CALL YOUR INSURANCE FOR A REFERRAL FROM THIER PROVIDER LIST OR IF YOU DONT HAVE INSURANCE,  GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR TREATMENT ASAP. PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS GO ON ANY LONGER. IF IT IS AN INFECTION, YOU DO NOT WANT IT TO SPREAD ELSEWHERE OR INTO YOUR BLOOD.. GLAD I LOGGED ON TODAY AND SAW YOUR POST
