SUSPECT PAIN

About a week ago I started to get a heavy dull pain in my upper right arm.  I have felt gently around my arm to see if there are any lumps.  There appears to be nothing, no bruising, yet if I press a certian spot it is very painful.  The pain also seems to have moved from one pressure point to another, ie: when I press where it first started it is not intensely painful. I also can't remember bumping into anything, it is even painful to turn the steering wheel of my car. As I write there if a dull throb. What can cause this?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
There is a chance that you have muscle pull. Apply ice pack, take an anti inflammatory like ibuprofen and give the arm rest. If you have done unaccustomed exercise or did push ups or lifted weight without warm up then it could also be a bicep tear. It could also be referred pain from the shoulder joint. In the latter two cases please consult a sports medicine specialist.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
