tiredness left hand side numbeness hands feet dissiness

Hi all i am new to the sorts of things.
about 3 weeks ago i had a really bad flu that knocked me around for about 2 weeks. At the end of the second week i returned to work (seditary job). During the work day i fainted in my bosses office. Paramedics came and said ecg was fine, blood sugar fine blood pressure slightly high but ok and suggested i follow up with local doctor. I had the next week off to recover and started to feel better i went back to work this week and was fine for three days then on weds i felt the same symptoms but no faint and went home. My wife called paramedics again that night as thought i was going to pass out again. Chest xray at hospital was fine and bloods came back fine except white blood cell count was high.
since then i have had lightheadedness mostof everyday, numbenes comes and goes in my left hand side only back pain and shoulder pain.awIting to see neurologist and ersults from ct on brain and neck. I take multivitamins everydayand stretch for about 30mins i am over weight but realtively healthy and active. About 12 years ago i had an infection in the brain but once fixed have had no symptoms since. I have been taking anti inflamatories which seems to help but not solve any of the problems. Last night i had all the same symptoms and laid down in bed after about 20 mins the pain and numbness eased off and went awaybut the light headedness stayed

Any advice wouldbe great.

Look into Lyme disease.  It can present itself as a flu at first then cause worse symptoms after. Lyme disease is a seriously overlooked epidemic right now!  I know from personal experience.  Also the testing for Lyme disease is only 50 percent accurate.

There's a great Lyme disease section right here on MedHelp.  Check it out and post there. Lots of helpful people on there

Good luck!
