Severe headache, fever, chills and night sweats

I am 23 year old guy from India, from the past few weeks i have been down with fever + severe headache + body pain + stomach pain + chillls + night sweats

I have been experiencing bad chills during night time and the fever also shoots up during the night time, in the day time its less or no fever at all sometimes

I had vomiting sensation and i did vomit once badly

I went to my family doctor for 3 days and hes not sure what wrong with me, i took medicines for 4 days and a injection too and still the problem continues

Also when i look at some bright light, my head starts paining badly and my left side ear pains most of the time

Now i daily have sweet lemon water at specific intervals to avoid vomiting

I also sweat during the night when sleeping 2 - 3 times daily

Since some of you have experienced similar symptoms, does anyone know whats exactly it is and what should i get treated for, i cant live like this, i feel like dying instead of suffering these same thing daily :(

Hi. even i am form india.
having fever from weeks is not a good sign of health.
you need to consult some proper doctor and get your blood, urin, stool test soon.
if your hemoglobine leve is less than you will surely feel weak.
it could be a sign of Maleria or Dengue fever.
Better consult a proper doctor soon.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Fever with chills is difficult to diagnose on net without examining the patient and running some basic tests. I can enumerate the various causes and you can discuss with your treating physician. The commonest cause is viral fever. It can also be malaria which is often difficult to catch by diagnostic tests. In a country like India, often treatment is started if malaria is suspected. UTI is another common cause. Pneumonia and ear infections are probably ruled out as you have no related symptoms that you report. If nothing is caught, then it could be viral or even typhoid.
A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind. Talk to your treating doctor. Take care!
