Sharp Pain in Right Armpit

What could this be?  Nothing swollen, red, infected, bruised, broken or cracked.  Sharp stabbing pain in right armpit with each step taken on right foot.

Hello,

As the pain increases with movement,so chances of it being due to an enlarged lymph node or a fractured rib are more.It can be a muscular pain also.Apply some warm compresses and take some anti inflammatory pain killer like diclofenac.Also apply some topical muscle relaxant and see if it helps.

If the symptoms persist then get an x-ray and physical examination doe by a physician.

ye i got this the odd time, nothing serious someting to do with lymph nodes, you only really need to get this checked out if you have pain both armpits as then it may be something to do with cancer
