Spotting, shortened cycle, I'm 35

I guess my title explains it pretty well.   I turned 35 in March and immediately something changed in my menstrual cycle.  A week after my period is over, I feel cramps again & then experience a bit of spotting (each month, for the past 5 months).

Now, additionally, I seem to have started my period a week early.  And I also feel quite warm but I'm not sure if it's me or just the weather.

But I've always had a completely problem-free menstrual cycle and now I am concerned that these might be the symptoms of early perimenopause.  My mother is 60 and only going through menopause now.

My sleep cycles have also been completely messed up for at least a couple of years now too.  And I've been drinking a lot of soy milk.   I'm just wondering if either of these might be enough to throw my body off...

if you are spotting or having other unusual (to you) periods, you should see your doctor.  also, your mother's age won't have any bearing on your age for menopause.  my mother was nearly 50, and i had completed menopause by age 40!
