A stomach ulcer will be there until the root cause is found and treated.
Helicobacter Pylori can cause stomach ulcers. So if you have been treated with medications and are still having a problem, it may be worth you having a breath test or stool test to find out if you have got that bacteria so that you then can be treated appropriately.
Blood tests are not reliable and can give false readings for Helicobacter Pylori.
The doctor may refer you to have a camera put down to find out what is going on inside and a biopsy may be taken to find out what is the cause of your ulcer.
Keep off fried and highly spiced foods and alcohol and any foods that may trigger off your problem. Stress to can make matters worse, so try (easier said than done, I know) to keep calm.
Best wishes.
Yellow stools or white stools are a sign that the liver is having a problem. It could be some medication or drug that you are taking causing your liver or gallbladder not to produce enough bile to make your stools brown. - Could be gallbladder disease - are you having pain right side around to the back and to your shoulder?
If so, please see a doctor.
Drinking olive oil and grapefruit juice sometimes helps with gallbladder pain. It does not cure - only a doctor can do that with surgery if it's gall stones.
I had none of those problems except some pain and heart burn, Dr said ulcers she bet, and was tested for heli pylori and she did an endoscopy and found barretts esophagus. Not a problem once they find it! Its where if you have had enough gerd or heart burn, the lining of your stomach grows up into your esophagus, and that's not where it needs to be!
Good Luck
