traces of blood in saliva

I have Hep C Virus. I have noticed that my first two saliva spits in the morning have traces of blood. Should I be worried?

The one serious implication could be "Bleeding esophageal varices"
if you also have some of the following symptoms:
Vomiting or coughing up blood
Red or dark stools
Low blood pressure
Lightheadedness
Rapid heartbeat
Note: not all of these symptoms must be present.
This is a possible consequence of chronic Hep C infection.

In the event you don't have any other abnormal symptoms, then it's a wait and see situation.

Best wishes,
Niko
