Strange head pains?

Hi, I'm an 18 year old male, and have recently developed pains in my head. It's seems to be localised to the left side, affecting my left ear, left jaw, left cheek, the left of my neck and also a tenderness on the left of the top of my head. It's been here for a few days now and hasn't gotten any worse, but then it hasn't gotten any better either.

No sure if it's relevant but I have also had trouble sleeping the last few days, but I assume that that is mainly due to the discomfort form the pain. Though the pain does seem worse when I am lying down. It is almost unnoticeable throughout the day, just a mild discomfort.

Any ideas what could be causing this sort of thing?

Thanks.
