Sudden dizzy spells?

I am 14 years old but this has slowly been happening since my first year of junior high. It first started with dizziness and a little vision trouble about 3 times all on separate occasions and slowly progressed to what just happened recently. About a week ago on Wednesday night, I began to hear a light ringing in my ear followed by feeling really hot and dizzy (probably a fever I didn't have a thermometer with me) then after about twenty minutes I threw up. I felt fine after that up until Sunday in church. I was kneeling down and began to hear the ringing again, again I began to feel hot and dizzy, but this time white began to encircle my eyes causing me to lose my vision for about 3 or 5 seconds (I think I might have passed out for a really short time) when my vision cleared up. I brushed my bangs from my forehead only to realize they were wet from sweat (which is really strange since I don't even sweat that much when I run a mile). I touched my neck and it was also covered in sweat. I fanned myself for about 30 seconds and all the sweat went away and I felt perfectly fine and still do. What's wrong with me?

Thank you all so much for your responses. I'm due for some booster shots and a check before high school starts, so I'm going to ask my doctor about it. I just wanted an idea of what might possibly be the problem. Thanks again everyone!

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You need to get examined to rule out a few things such as low blood pressure, postural hypotension (fall in blood pressure, cervical spinal nerve compression, hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), severe anemia, an underactive thyroid (called hypothyroidism), overactive thyroid (called hyperthyroidism), adrenal insufficiency (called Addison's disease), GERD or gastric reflux, and internal ear infections.
Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!

I agree with the poster who said you need to see a doctor. There are many things that can cause these symptoms, some of them very serious. You need to see a doctor

Your symptoms sound like your not getting enough water you should have at least four litres a day. If so the dizzyness and vomiting could be caused from not getting enough protien or iron which can lead to animia.

Talk to your parent(s) immediately.  Get in to see the doctor.

You may need bloodwork done just to rule things out.  This could be hormonal since you are in the age of things changing and happening.

But especially since you think you may have fainted/passed out.  For me that's always a get to the doctor as soon as you can and have everything looked at.

Good luck and keep us posted, ok?
