Sulphuric/ Eggy burps and stomach cramps

I found the above  topic last night at this same forum, though its dated 6 yrs back and I couldnt find anything more recent as I was searching for an answer to my own problem of the foulest burps that ever existed, then comes the diarhea and finally the vomitting. For me this can last up to two or three days. I was so relieved to find that other people have and are experiencing these same symptoms. Though im worried that no one has found and answer, maybe they have, as I said, the only forum I found for this is on this web site and its 6 yrs old. Im hoping someone has some new answer to this same problem. Its dibilitating when it happens, hard to go to work while im busy crapping and puking myself to half to death. Again, the burps are the absolute worst, those alone taste so bad its enough to make me sick and the sulphuric smell is just awful. Really its like im farting out my mouth. Hopefully after 6 yrs someone has some kind of real answer to this problem.

Thk you.

I too had all the symptoms above!  The one medication that changed my life is Domperidone.  I suggest talking to your doc about it because with it, I can live life normally for the first time in years.  I don't have any problems anymore!  All I can say is, do your research and talk to your doc and I do hope it helps.

To everyone.  i am a 38 year old male who has been suffering like many of you.  About 5 years ago this started and I would honestly prefer death opposed to going through this. (just while im going through it)  It starts with an incredibly full feeling and then the burps starts.  Only way i can describe it is roadkill coming up from my stomach.  The smell alone starts the vomiting, and when I do vomit, I can see food ive eatn over the last two days, without hardly any change.  The worst stomach cramps and diaherra come right with.  It happens tome every 4 or 5 weeks.  my Dr. is stumped.  He has tried all the meds ive seen mentioned here but to no avail.  Common sense tells me for some reason my stomach isnt emptying out like it should and the food actually starts to to rot in my body.  I guess just never eating a big meal again and eating a tiny bit a few more times a day is the answer?  My heart goes out to all of you.  I suffer with gegenerative joints and deal with pain on a dailybasis, but nothing comes even close tothe agony of this problem.  I honestly wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy.  God Bless-Sick in NY

I am 28 and have also had this problem since I was about 12 years old. I tried many things including  LOTS of pepto but that just hasnt been working anymore. Thank you for suggesting the prevacid. I tried using it and it has been working well so far. :)

I am only 23 but unfortunatley i have had this problem since i was probably 10 or 11 years old!  take Prevacid..they sell it over the counter at walmart or walgreens or just about anywhere.  when i 1st started having these problems, prevacid was not sold over the counter, and is what was prescribed to me by my doctor..Prevacid and Acipehx are the only meds that have ever helped me.   tums are ok, but it doesn't last long.  with prevacid as long as u take it once a day, it will prevent u from having these problems.  its like $25 for a box of 42 pills! its well worth it.   but you might try a smaller box to see if it is going to work 1st!  unfortunatley i dont think the problem ever really goes away, but it is treatable, or it has been for me at least.  I hope this helps some of you!! I have suffered from this problem almost my whole life, and i know how hard it is.

I am just coming to the end of another bout of this horrible gastro fart smelling burp disease. its been two days of the worst diahrea ever , its now yellow colour,  this time  i had with fever, incredible nausea but no vomiting, ( i refuse to vomit) but probably should and the disgusting burps that make me wanna puke. I have had this many times before but now that im on heart medication pills its very frequently happening.
I have to shut down for two days and not eat take immodium etc. I dont want to go to doctors because they never have answers. I am glad to hear other people have this. I feel that is bacterial related but antibiotics you should only take in life threatening situations. I also find that alcohol or specifically wine gives me gastro pain on right side of stomach. Anyway can someone just come up with a cure already its really disgusting.

i had this symptoms for a while I'm having it now as i type they go away after a couple of days. for me anyway. i have these attacks maybe once  or twice a year sometimes i just get the egg burps with the frequent trips to the bathroom. today how ever i have the symptoms with the vomiting which i never had before. the farting is the worse combine with the burps it is embarrassing if you in a crowded elevator or subway car and you have to fart or burp is the most horrible stench. I'm making an appointment to see my doctor today i know all this will go away in a few days i just want to know where those horrible gases are coming from.i just tried to vomit but nothing came up. I'm also having that crampy stomach feeling which  i
i never had before. my god i feel for those of you that have these attacks on a regular basis.
