Suppressed cough changes to a sneeze

I get a tickle in the back of my throat in the dip in the throat, that makes me cough, but if i suppress the cough it changes to a sneeze. Would like to know how to stop it.

Don't suppress the cough, but not sure why sneezing is a greater concern than coughing.  Both are harmless.

Sneeze and cough are normal reactions of human body to protect it from different irritants. So to cough and sneeze is "healthy", but if the problem persists, you should contact your doc or an ENT doctor.
