Hello,

Excessive sweating is called hyperhydrosis. Excessive sweating in the face can result from an overactive sympathetic nervous system, sometimes due to substance abuse. Mild social stimuli with stress can cause excessive facial sweating which can also involve the scalp and the neck. Endoscopic thoracic sympathicotomy is a very effective way to treat severe facial sweating.

Twitching of the face can be due to acid-base imbalance in the body, low sodium, calcium and vit D deficiency ,muscle fasciculation syndrome(a disorder of the nervous system characterized by the uncontrolled twitching (fasciculation) of muscle groups in various parts of the body),ALS,chronic fatigue syndrome, hypoparathyroidism and spinal neoplasms.Pls discuss these possibilities with your doctor.

I feel that you are having sympathetic overactivity.Keep yourself well hydrated as excessive sweating leads to decreased sodium which can cause twitchings.

Hope it helps.Take care and regards.
